Into Light: the Luminosity of
Anders Knutsson

May 16th-June 30th

Anders Knutsson, born in Malmö, Sweden, is a renowned Swedish-American artist whose career has spanned over five decades. Known for his large-scale acrylic paintings, pencil drawings, and print portraits, Knutsson's work often centers on landmark or endangered trees, reflecting his deep appreciation for the natural world. His ongoing "Luminous Series" and numerous exhibitions across the globe have solidified his position as a significant and consistent monochrome painter of his generation.

Anders Knutsson’s work has been exhibited in museums, art centers, galleries, universities, corporations, churches and a variety of formal and informal spaces in many countries. His Luminous paintings, costumes and objects have been featured in dance performances, theatrical productions and various happenings.
